Have we accidentally removed important files? How to fix this problem?
We are currently unable to view my videos on MS and Apple computers (as we still do with other cameras). We are receiving MS error messages that the necessary codec was not ‘downloaded automatically since the download codecs automatically check box is not selected in the Options dialog box.’ (We don’t know what that means).
We use internal memory (not external cards).

downlaod any video converter tahts the name of the program
and upload ur videos into it and click some buttom to swigtch the format and then go to the top right and u will see a scroll thing and select wmv and then u can uplaod them to wmm or w.e i hope this helped

Get a free player like BSPlayer or KMPlayer, both are great for most formats, including, Divx, xvid, mp3, mp4, vob, a huge list of formats they can play back. Tmpeg might be something you can use for merging files, but not sure about a free program to do it, let alone what formats it can cut/merge.
